On Thursday, Falcons owner Arthur Blank’s foundation donated a five-year, $17 million grant to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta. The latest of Blank’s many charitable endeavors is aimed at helping the museum expand its reach.
“This grant will help The Center add to its existing footprint and transform its programming, providing the opportunity to scale its work around civil and human rights,” the Arthur Blank Foundation posted Twitter.

Blank, as we’ve pointed out before, continues to do things to make his presence felt in the community and is generally regarded as one of the most caring, respected owners in the NFL.
“The most effective way to make progress together as a community is to shine a light on the issues that exist and to then do something about them so that everyone can feel a sense of understanding and support,” said Blank.
“We believe in the power of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights to educate, include and transform the whole of this community and this country so that together, we can create tangible, positive change.”
