Arteta reveals Tierney injury
Whilst Sunday afternoon's defeat to Chelsea was bad enough, the Gunners then sustained two blows with Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli having been withdrawn through injury.
When probed about their respective problems, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said: "Yeah, they had to limp off. I don’t know, KT had an issue with his quad and Gabi was cramping.
"With Bukayo they have not played 90 minutes for a long, long time, but we have to ask them to do that right now when they are not fully prepared. But they tried really hard the boys."

Manchester City could turn to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Harry Kane alternative
Manchester City have been urged to make a transfer move for Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if they fail to seal a deal for Spurs star Harry Kane.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to City by former Gunner Charlie Nicholas as a 'cheaper option' to Kane and the answer to Pep Guardiola's striker problem.
"They could go for someone like [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang.," Nicholas said. "It looks like something is going wrong at Arsenal at the moment, and we do know Aubameyang scores goals.
"He’s got pace, and he’s got movement. I prefer him on the left, but I could see something like that materialise.
"It gives Manchester City a cheaper option. He’s not as good as Kane, but he’s as good a finisher as Kane."

Sol Campbell urges Arsenal fans to back Mikel Arteta
Sol Campbell has struck a note of optimism in regard to Arsenal under Mikel Arteta's management.
"I think you have to be optimistic," Campbell said on Sky Sports. "They have spent a lot of money, the most in the league. But you have to realise it is a building programme here, it’s not the Arsenal of the old.
"Yes, with defensive scenarios and the attacking scenarios they have to get better, we have to be more clinical, you know it is hard work and football is not easy.
"It’s not easy when you are at the top, Arsenal have been there and they want to get back up there. You have to have time, there are some good players out there but they need time. But there’s no guarantee, you can spend £50million, £60million, £70million on a player, it is a hell of a lot of money but sometimes it can go wrong.
"I think Arsenal have to get comfortable with the fact that signings can go wrong, but they have to keep on going."
