Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code by Eoin Colfer - review

If I had to choose any book to take to a desert island it would be Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code. This is my favourite of the series because of the action, the humour and its very exiting. Once you start reading you can't stop till you get to the end. For those who don't know, Artemis Fowl is a kiddie criminal genius who has a bodyguard called Butler.

In this book Artemis has constructed an amazing supercomputer using stolen fairy technology and if there's one thing that anyone wouldn't want to happen, it would be for it to fall into the hands of ruthless and mean Jon Spiro which is exactly what happens. Artemis needs help to recapture it but when Butler gets shot Artemis has to turn to Captian Holly Short (who's a fairy) of the LEP (Lower Elements Police) for help.

In an epic 329 pages Eoin Colfer manages to make a fast, funny, fairy fantasy packed with loads of action.
