Artem Lobov, Jason Knight spark up bare-knuckle rematch talk

Part 2 of the gruesome bare-knuckle battle between Artem Lobov and Jason Knight very well could be on the horizon.

Knight and Lobov faced each other in their Bare Knuckle FC debuts in June and fought a brutal and bloody battle, which resulted in a unanimous-decision win for Lobov in the BKFC 5 main event.

Now Knight wants to rematch his former UFC counterpart. As expected, Lobov is game.

“Retweet if you think me and @RusHammerMMA should run it back !!! I’m ready if you are !!!” Knight tweeted early Wednesday morning.

Lobov wasted no time with a response accepting the challenge for November in Boston. No date or event has been scheduled, but Lobov could be hinting at BKFC’s next destination.

“The Russian Hammer” is coming off a unanimous-decision win over former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi at BKFC 6 in a highly anticipated grudge match. Lobov was able to get the better end of the rivalry that stemmed from a bitter fallout between Malignaggi and Lobov’s good friend, Conor McGregor.

After losing to Lobov in an all-out war, Knight was scheduled to make his return in the main event of BKFC 7 vs. Leonard Garcia but was forced out due to a rib injury.

It appears he is ready to go now, and willing to relive the bloody horror with Lobov.
