Artists influencers, fashionistas, and socialites have escaped the cold winter weather of New York and Europe for Miami Art Week - or Art Basel.
Party hopping is the word - to tick off so many soirees in one night guests, often stay less than half an hour at each one before jumping to next chic watering hole.
On Thursday night, the glitterati was out in full force than at the Art News x Surf Lodge dinner and party at the W Hotel in Miami Beach. The dinner, hosted by Swizz Beatz (in an amazing lavender suit) and Andrew Warren, had guests dining poolside under the stars.
Rosario Dawson chatted with friends in a Miami appropriate caftan while Olivia Culpo posed for cameras in a nude dress with embellished crystals. The Surf Lodge team didn’t disappoint in making the party a must-attend, as would be expected when the Montauk summer favorite packs up and flies south for the winter.
By 10pm the lines to get in were long, and there was little hope of ever seeing the other side of the velvet rope.
Another major event was an intimate brunch hosted by Jessica Hart and Patricia Bonaldi of PatBO at the 1 Hotel, attended by Lorena Rae, Sofia Resing, Timo Weiland and more.
Celebrities also flocked to the Diesel and Bodega party for The Unofficial Basel Gift Shop, which is an immersive installation pop-up. Princess Nokia, Big Freedia, Trina and Wendy Williams were all spotted.
