Art Basel Miami Beach, where the hottest names in contemporary art and fashion come together for a long weekend of exhibitions and parties, is officially under way.
If you're serious about buying art - and have plenty of cash to fund your passion - Art Basel is the place to snap up a high end one-off.
Fans of the fair include Leonardo DiCaprio, who was spotted weaving his way into artist David Kordansky's booth on Wednesday, baseball cap on and small entourage in tow, and Jennifer Lopez, who browsed work at a special VIP preview with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
The fair has already seen some eight-figure sales, including a Picasso portrait (Tete de Femme) which was listed for $17 million.
There's been some pretty extravagant opening parties too. On Wednesday night diamond jewellers Bvlgari toasted artist Raul de Nieves and his carousel sculpture with a grand dinner attended by Winnie Harlow, Laura Harrier (who stole the show in lemon yellow ruffles) and Chloe Sevingny, who enjoyed a ride on the installation.
Elsewhere fashion brand Loewe threw an opening cocktail reception hosted by its creative director Jonathan Anderson, while Ellie Goulding hit an intimate dinner at the Bass Museum hosted by fashion brand Chloe.
