The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design. From paintings to prints, to sculpture, fashion and furniture, it houses a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects. During this intimate class, Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones will guide a small group of people around the Victoria and Albert Museum, one of Jonathan’s favourite museums in London.
In this morning Masterclass, Jonathan will take you on a mystery tour, revealing surprises contained in this world-renowned museum of art and design. Along the way, you’ll learn how to interpret and appreciate great works of art and sculpture. Plus, you’ll learn how to enjoy art and design more fully, and have plenty of opportunities to chat with Jonathan and ask any questions you might have about art.
Suitable for beginners or those who want to deepen their understanding of art and design, this is a phenomenal opportunity to explore one of the world’s finest collections, with one of the UK’s most passionate art critics.
