Arsonist sought in Washington Park fire

Authorities are looking for someone who set a fire Thursday night in Washington Park on the South Side.

The suspected arsonist used an “incendiary device” to start the fire about 9 p.m. at a building in the 6200 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to Chicago police.

The fire caused minor smoke damage and no injuries were reported, police said.

No one is in custody as the CPD Arson detectives investigate.
