Authorities were conducting an arson investigation after a fire broke out Tuesday at a home in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, according to Chicago police.

The fire erupted about 2 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Dobson Avenue, according to preliminary information from police spokeswoman Karie James.

There were no reported injuries, James said. Additional details weren’t immediately available.

A spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department did not immediately return a request for comment.
