Wenger's Saka verdict
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Bukayo Saka, citing his all-round game as a crucial reason for England's success at Euro 2020.
"Saka is more reliable defensively (than Jadon Sancho) and I would say Southgate has built this team on being solid defensively - you see that with Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips," he told beIN SPORTS via the Daily Star.
"Overall they are more defensive, especially Phillips. He's working very hard but plays a lot sideways - and not many incisive balls - but he does an amazing job defensively.
"With Saka, he defends well and has played full-back with Arsenal and many other positions."

Palace keen on Nketiah
Newly-appointed Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira is interested in Arsenal frontman Eddie Nketiah, according to a report from The Sun.
This could start a bidding war for the English striker, with Brighton and Watford previously touted as holding an interest in the 22-year-old.
He has just 12 months remaining on his current contract at the Emirates, which could mean the Gunners can only attract a small fee for his services this summer.
However, they could take inspiration from their sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool in the summer of 2017 given they acquired £35million for him despite a similar contract situation.

Xhaka move stalls
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka's proposed move to AS Roma has stalled, according to Sky Italia.
The Gunners value Xhaka at around £17.5million and appear to be standing firm and refusing to accept any offer below their valuation of the player, despite his eagerness to join Jose Mourinho's side.
The Swiss international enjoyed a productive Euro 2020 campaign, earning UEFA's star of the match for his side's round of 16 victory over France a fortnight ago.
His tournament exploits, combined with the fact he still has two years remaining on his current contract means that Arsenal will reportedly refuse to budge on their asking price for the 28-year-old.
