Arsenal youngster Jordi Osei-Tutu was subject to racist abuse from an opponent during his first match with VFL Bochum.
Osei-Tutu, 20, moved to the German club last month on a season-long loan from Arsenal .
He made his first appearance for his new club against Swiss outfit St Gallen when he was allegedly abused by an opposition player.
Osei-Tutu stormed off the pitch in tears during the first-half of the match after the shocking taunts.
TV cameras showed the youngster speaking to an opponent before remonstrating with the referee.
His teammates attempted to console him but Osei-Tutu made his way off the pitch, although he is believed to have returned after half-time.

On the incident, Osei-Tutu said: "I am very disappointed that I was racially abused.
"Nobody should ever be discriminated against and it is really hard to understand how a fellow professional footballer can behave disrespectfully in this way.
"Arsenal and VFL Bochim have given me great support and I hope that we can finally demonstrate that racism has no place in football.
Bochum also confirmed they will be launching an investigation into the allegations.
"VfL Bochum, Jordi Osei-Tutu and his parent club, Arsenal, are in close coordination to deal with this incident.
"We do not tolerate any form of discrimation. Racism has no place in our game."
Osei-Tutu is yet to make his senior debut at Arsenal but played a key role in the Under-23s title triumph in 2018.
He was a loan target for a host of Football League clubs this summer but became the latest in a long line of young English players to make the move to Germany.
Arsenal loaned Reiss Nelson and Emile Swith-Rowe to Bundesliga clubs last season with both players expected to have first-team roles next term.
