Arsenal XI vs Man City: Confirmed team news, starting lineup and latest injuries - Mesut Ozil left out

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has nearly a full squad available to him as he prepares to take on Manchester City today - and Mesut Ozil is missing altogether.

Midfielder Lucas Torreira is short of fitness as he recovers from a fractured ankle, but other than that Arsenal have basically a clean bill of health.

As a result, Bernd Leno starts in goal, with the centre-back pairing of Pablo Mari and Shkodran Mustafi.

Kieran Tierney is fit and starts at left-back, while ahead of him Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi occupy the midfield.

It is in attack where Arteta has options and decisions to make - and make them he has. Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts up top, with Bukayo Saka, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah in support.

Mesut Ozil has been left out, while Alexandre Lacazette is left on the bench with Nicolas Pepe and David Luiz in a bold statement from Arteta.

Arsenal: Leno, Bellerin, Pablo Mari, Mustafi, Tierney, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Nketiah, Willock, Saka, Aubameyang

Subs: Ceballos, Lacazette, Maitland-Niles, Pepe, Luiz, Nelson, Martinez, Kolasinac, Martinelli

Man City: Ederson, Walker, Garcia, Laporte, Mendy, Silva, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling

Subs: Aguero, Zinchenko, Rodri, Sane, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, Otamendi, Carson, Foden

Referee: Anthony Taylor (Cheshire)
