Arsenal XI vs Southampton: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for Premier League tonight

Bernd Leno’s knee injury may not be as bad as first feared, but he is still unlikely to play again this season and so Emiliano Martinez starts in goal for Arsenal against Southampton tonight.

Ahead of him, centre-backs Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi keep their places - but Kieran Tierney comes in for Sead Kolasinac at left-back.

Head coach Mikel Arteta deployed Matteo Guendouzi in a holding role against Brighton and - after he escaped an FA ban - the Frenchman has been left out of the squad entirely here.

Arsenal are light on midfield options as Lucas Torreira is still not in full training so Granit Xhaka - who is likely lacking fitness - starts alongside Dani Ceballos.

Out wide Nicolas Pepe’s goal at the weekend means he keeps his place, while Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang complete the attack.
