Arsenal XI vs Portsmouth: Havertz BACK - Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for FA Cup

Mikel Arteta has made 10 changes to his side for their FA Cup third-round tie at Fratton Park.

Havertz could be given his first action since the opening day after his return to fitness following a knee injury.

The game at Fratton Park is the first of four away games in four competitions in the space of nine days for the Gunners, and Arteta has rotated his squad ahead of the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Chelsea next week.

That means a first start for Eberechi Eze since the Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace last month, while Noni Madueke and Ethan Nwaneri also come into the side.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is in goal and plays in front of a back four of Ben White, Christian Norgaard, Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly.Ethan

Nwaneri has beeen handed a first start since the start of November and is in midfield alongside Mikel Merino and Eze.

Gabriel Martinelli and Madueke are on the wings.

Merino captains the side, with Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka on the bench.

Arsenal are again without Riccardo Calafiori and there is no Piero Hincapie after he went off against Liverpool with a suspected hamstring injury.
