Arsenal XI vs Norwich: Starting lineup, team news, injuries and Covid latest for Premier League today

Mikel Arteta has decided against bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back in from the cold against Norwich on Boxing Day.

Aubameyang has missed the last four games since being dropped and stripped of the Arsenal captaincy following a disciplinary breach.

“We will go game by game and decide the squad as we get closer to the game,” said Arteta on Wednesday, but the Gabon forward remains absent.

Arsenal made plenty of changes for their Carabao Cup win over Sunderland and have reverted back to the bulk of the team that beat Leeds last week.

The only change is in defence, where Rob Holding comes in for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has Covid, with Ben White likely to shift to right-back.

Arsenal starting XI (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Lacazette

Sunday 3.00pm GMT

Injured: Chambers (Covid-19), Kolasinac (ankle), Lokonga (Covid-19), Mari (Covid-19)
