Mikel Arteta has rotated his Arsenal side for their FA Cup fifth-round trip to Mansfield, with Marli Salmon and Max Dowman starting.

The Gunners travel to take on more League One opposition this lunchtime for a place in the quarter-finals, looking to continue their push on all four fronts this season.

With this match coming not even 72 hours after the win over Brighton on Wednesday, and with a Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen ahead in midweek, significant changes have been made.

After picking up yellow cards against both Portsmouth and Wigan, Myles Lewis-Skelly is unavailable due to a one-match FA Cup suspension.

It remains to be seen exactly what role Salmon has been given, as it could be a back three or back four, but he starts alongside Cristhian Mosquera.

Gabriel is rested, while William Saliba is nursing an ankle injury and not involved.

Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi have also skipped the trip, while Mikel Merino is a long-term absentee with a foot injury and Martin Odegaard remains unavailable due to a knee issue.

Kai Havertz is fit again and starts in midfield alongside youngster Max Dowman, who returns after an ankle injury.

In attack, Gabriel Martinelli has been a cup specialist this season and gets another chance here. Gabriel Jesus leads the line.
