Arsenal XI vs Man City: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for Premier League clash

After resting several players for Thursday’s Europa League draw with Standard Liege, Freddie Ljungberg should ring the changes for this trip to Manchester City.

Bernd Leno will return in goal and Sead Kolasinac will start at left-back following the news Kieran Tierney is out for possibly three months due to a dislocated shoulder.

Calum Chambers and Sokratis are likely to be the centre-back pairing, while Ljungberg will hope right-back Hector Bellerin is fit after pulling out of the West Ham match in the warm-up due to a tight hamstring.

Given Matteo Guendouzi played 90 minutes against Liege, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira should start as the midfield pairing.

Mesut Ozil will also expect to be restored as the team’s No10, with Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing after scoring his first Premier League goal on Monday.

Nicolas Pepe, who also scored against West Ham, faces a late fitness after sustaining bruising on his left knee, but Ljungberg will hope he can start. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will lead the line as captain.
