Arsenal XI vs Everton: Confirmed lineups and full team news at Goodison Park

Everton caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson welcomed four players back from injury and illness for his final game in charge against Arsenal at Goodison Park.

An announcement an hour and 10 minutes before kick-off confirmed Carlo Ancelotti will take over from Sunday after watching this game from the stands.

Everton have been short on numbers but Fabian Delph, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne and Djibril Sidibe all returned to the starting line-up.

Freddie Ljungberg was also in the Arsenal hotseat for the last time ahead of Mikel Arteta taking the reins and he made five changes from last weekend's dispiriting loss to Manchester City.

In came David Luiz, Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka in a show of faith in the club's young talent.
