Arsenal XI vs Chelsea: How we expect Mikel Arteta’s side to lineup

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has some decisions to make ahead of Sunday’s match with Chelsea as a number of players are pushing to make a return.

Hector Bellerin was close to being fit to play against Bournemouth on Boxing Day and could come in at right-back, while Calum Chambers is back from suspension and likely to replace Sokratis in the heart of defence.

Ahead of the back four, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira should start together in midfield after impressing during Arteta’s first game in charge - but the former’s place could be under threat after reports emerged he has agreed to join Hertha Berlin.

In attack, Mesut Ozil is likely to keep his place after excelling against Bournemouth and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should be deployed out wide on the left again.

That leaves Alexandre Lacazette to lead the line, but there could be a change on the right.

Nicolas Pepe caught the eye off the bench against Bournemouth and looks likely to start in place of Reiss Nelson - who played 90 minutes on Boxing Day.

Here’s how we expect Arsenal to lineup against Chelsea
