Arsenal XI vs Chelsea FC: Confirmed lineup as Mikel Arteta names back three; Bukayo Saka at right wing-back

Mikel Arteta has gone with a back three for tonight’s London derby at Chelsea, with Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney starting as wing backs.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back in the Arsenal team as one of five changes from the side that beat West Brom 3-1 at the weekend.

Pablo Mari, Thomas Partey, Tierney, Martin Odegaard, Aubameyang come in for Calum Chambers, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, Willian and Gabriel Martinelli.

It looks like Arteta matched up Chelsea and gone with a back three, with Saka starting at right-wing back ahead three rights backs on the Arsenal bench.

Emile Smith Rowe has shaken off a hamstring concern to retain his place in the side.

Arsenal are still without centre-back David Luiz, who remains sidelined with a hamstring issue that he picked up against Newcastle earlier this month.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Holding, Gabriel, Mari, Saka, Elneny, Partey, Tierney, Smith Rowe, Odegaard, Aubameyang.

Subs: Bellerin, Ceballos, Lacazette, Willian, Cedric, Pepe, Chambers, Ryan, Martinelli

Wednesday 8.15pm GMT, Sky Sports

Venue: Stamford Bridge
