Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Mikel Arteta has announced his Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth - (ES Composite)

Thomas Partey and Ben White start for Arsenal in their Premier League clash with Bournemouth this evening.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has, as expected, resisted the temptation to make wholesale changes despite the fact his side have the second leg of their Champions League semi-final at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

Partey missed first leg on Tuesday due to suspension but is handed an immediate recall to get him up to speed.

Arteta, often, rotated the full-backs in between European games last month, so Jurrien Timber is rested with White taking his spot at right-back.

Arsenal are once again without Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori. The pair are progressing in their recoveries from injuries, but the Gunners boss confirmed they would not feature this weekend.

Calafiori has been out since March with a knee issue, while Jorginho has been absent with a rib injury.

Jakub Kiwior continues his partnership with William Saliba in central defence, with David Raya in goal. Neto is on loan from Bournemouth and so is ineligible.

Declan Rice and captain Martin Odegaard start in midfield with Ethan Nwaneri, and Mikel Merino on the bench.

The Spaniard played in midfield on Tuesday against PSG, but is expected to lead the line for the second leg next week.

Arteta has therefore been keen to give Merino a rest against Bournemouth in preparation for the trip to Paris.

Confirmed team news

Arsenal likely XI (4-3-3): Raya, White, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard.

Subs: Setford, Tierney, Zinchenko, Clarke, Merino, Nwaneri, Butler-Oyedeji, Gower, Sterling.
