Arsenal XI vs Liverpool: Confirmed team news, starting lineup and latest injury list for Premier League today

Arsenal could be without the talents of both Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe for tonight’s visit of Liverpool to Emirates Stadium.

Saka had to pull out of the recent England squad with a hamstring issue and is training on his own at Arsenal.

Smith Rowe, meanwhile, had a hip problem while away with the England Under-21 squad and needs to be assessed.

The pair’s absence would provide opportunities for others to shine, namely Nicolas Pepe - who came off the bench and impressed against West Ham last time out.

Alexandre Lacazette will hope to still lead the line in attack, with two goals in his last two games, and that means Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may start out left.

In defence, David Luiz is out with a knee injury so Rob Holding may partner Gabriel. The right-back slot is wide open, with Calum Chambers excelling against West Ham.

Arsenal likely XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Pepe, Odegaard, Aubameyang; Lacazette.

Saturday 8.00pm GMT, Sky Sports

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Referee: Martin Atkinson

Arsenal squad from: Leno, Runarsson, Ryan; Bellerin, Cedric, Chambers, Gabriel, Holding, Luiz, Mari, Tierney; Ceballos, Elneny, Odegaard, Partey, Saka, Smith Rowe, Xhaka; Aubameyang, Balogun, Lacazette, Martinelli, Nelson, Nketiah, Pepe and Willian.

Doubts: Saka (hamstring), Smith Rowe (hip)
