Arsenal win the Premier League: Arteta’s side Champions for first time in 22 years

Arsenal have won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

Mikel Arteta’s were named Champions on Tuesday after Manchester City drew 1-1 at Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

Eli Junior Kroupi’s first half goal put Bournemouth ahead. Erling Haaland equalised late on for Manchester City but it wasn’t enough for Pep Guardiola’s side.

It comes after Arsenal’s win against Burnley on Monday put them five points ahead of City, meaning City could not afford to drop any more points if they wanted to take the title race to the final day.

Arsenal face Crystal Palace on Sunday, where they will lift the Premier League trophy.
