Arsenal are interested in signing Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.
The Swedish striker, 22, impressed for his country at Euro 2020 and is thought to have a £60million release clause in his contract.
Arsenal have spoken with Isak's representatives and are willing to stump up the necessary cash, according to Spanish outlet AS
It's unclear if the player wants to join the Premier League giants however, as Real Madrid are also interested in signing him, it's claimed.
The La Liga giants see Isak - who has thrived in Spain since moving to San Sebastian - as a cheaper option then Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland.

Isak has shown huge potential since joining Sociedad from Dortmund in June 2019, scoring to 34 goals in 95 appearances.
The youngster has also earned 29 senior caps and won UEFA's Star of the Match award for his stunning performance against Slovakia at the Euros.
Arsenal are thought to be in the market for a new striker as Lacazette's time in North London appears to be coming to an end.
The Frenchman, 30, is out of contract in June and, according to Football London, has told the Gunners he has "no intention" of committing his future to the club.
Lacazette has been linked with relegation-threatened Newcastle following their recent Saudi-backed takeover.
The Toon have picked up just three points from their first seven Premier League games this term and are in need of reinforcements.
Arsenal may be keen to sell Lacazette this winter to ensure they reclaim some of the £46.5m they spent on him in July 2017.
The 16-cap international has scored 67 goals in 174 appearances for the Gunners, winning the FA Cup in 2020.
Arsenal are also rumoured to be interested in Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins as potential replacements for Lacazette.
