Arsenal vs Wolves: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Arsenal face Wolves at the Emirates Stadium this weekend - (ES Composite)

Arsenal will look to get back to form in the Premier League as they host rock-bottom Wolves on Saturday.

The Gunners saw their 18-game unbeaten run come to an end in heartbreaking fashion against Aston Villa in last Saturday’s lunchtime showdown as Emi Buendia scored with the final kick of the game.

That result coupled with Manchester City’s later win over Sunderland means Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table has been whittled down to just two points.

Mikel Arteta’s side have the chance to open back up a five-point lead, albeit maybe only for a few hours, with City not in action until Sunday when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

That said, the north London outfit did bounce back from the Villa defeat by beating Club Brugge 3-0 away on Wednesday to maintain their perfect start to this season’s Champions League.

Next up is the visit of a free-falling Wolves side still winless in the Premier League this season with only two points from 15 games and on a run of eight straight losses after Monday night’s heavy home defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Arsenal vs Wolves is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off on Saturday December 13, 2025.

The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium in north London.

Arsenal vs Wolves team news

The Gunners will hope to have Declan Rice back in the team after the midfielder missed the win over Club Brugge through illness.

William Saliba has now missed the last four games and is a doubt alongside Leandro Trossard who sustained a fresh knock in the defeat to Aston Villa.

Jurrien Timber faces a late fitness test after sitting out the win in Bruges, with youngster Marli Salmon on standby if the Dutchman fails to recover from the kick he suffered at Villa Park.

Riccardo Calafiori is suspended which means Myles Lewis-Skelly is set to keep his place at left-back, but Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Cristhian Mosquera and Max Dowman are all out injured.

Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze could return to the Arsenal XI, though Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli staked a claim to keep their places with goals against Club Brugge.

Wolves will be without midfielder Marshall Munetsi for the trip to London but Joao Gomes is available again after serving a suspension in the loss to Manchester United.

Rodrigo Gomes, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Daniel Bentley and Leon Chiwome are all sidelined.

Arsenal vs Wolves prediction

It’s top vs bottom in the Premier League and the gap in quality should be evident on Saturday night. While Arsenal have a crisis in defence, they are getting their attackers back at the right time.

If Wolves defend like they did against United then it’s a chance for the Gunners to fill their boots and prove the Villa loss was nothing more than a blip.

Arsenal to win, 4-0.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

Arsenal have won the last eight meetings against Wolves by an aggregate score of 17-3. Havertz and Saka were on target for the Gunners in the corresponding fixture last season.
