Arsenal vs West Ham
FA Women's Super League 2019-20
Venue: Meadow Park, Borehamwood
Date: Sunday, 8th September, 2019
Kick-off time: 2:30pm BST
Arsenal kick off their Women's Super League title defence at home to West Ham on Sunday as the WSL aims for an historic year.
The Gunners finished seven points ahead of Manchester City last term, and will be looking for their second WSL title in a row - and the fourth in their history - this term.
As for West Ham, they have big plans for the new campaign, and are aiming to improve on a seventh-placed finish last time around.
Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 West Ham
It would be a real shock to see anything other than a routine win for the Gunners at Meadow Park.
Joe Montemurro boasts a fearsome attack, though the Hammers did push the Gunners close twice last season in their two defeats - 4-2 at home and 4-3 away.
