Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is out of the north London derby against Tottenham having suffered a back spasm.
The 30-year-old, who has just one goal in ten games against Spurs, also missed the win at Fulham earlier this season with a similar problem while in the early stages of the campaign Unai Emery was forced to deny a training ground bust up with Ozil after he was absent from the squad against West Ham.
The former Germany international was left on the bench by manager Emery at Bournemouth last weekend, saying the Cherries were too demanding for his £350,000-a-week star.
The midfielder was also left out of the squad which travelled to Ukraine for the Europa League clash on Thursday.
For Spurs, manager Mauricio Pochettino has recalled young defender Juan Foyth to play his first north London derby in place of Toby Alderweireld, who is rested after starting both games against Chelsea and Inter Milan.
