Arsenal vs Liverpool as it happened: Alexandre Lacazette strikes late to level after James Milner's goal
Alexandre Lacazette struck a late equaliser as Arsenal and Liverpool shared the spoils in an entertaining Premier League clash.
Liverpool looked to be going three points clear at the top of the table after James Milner's 50th career Premier League goal had set them on course for victory.
But Arsenal rallied and deservedly secured themselves a 1-1 draw as Lacazette wriggled free inside the box before curling home with eight minutes remaining.
Both sides had first-half efforts ruled out for offside, Liverpool's a more contentious call as Sadio Mane saw his celebrations cut short.
The Gunners have a poor recent record against the league's main clubs and head coach Unai Emery spoke of his desire to change that after starting his tenure with defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea.
They did compete here and their supporters inside the Emirates Stadium stuck with them as Emery's side played their part in an evenly-matched encounter.
Moura sends Kane free on goal, Kane taps the ball down to control it and then fires a shoot first time. Rui Patricio once again comes to Wolves' aid with a solid save.
Harry Kane almost makes it four, he puts the ball on his right foot and tries to curl one into the top corner from the edge of the box. Rui Patricio dives to the left and pushes the ball past the post.
The game's all over now. For all of Wolves' possession and dominance in this second half it's Spurs who have the goal. That's the sign of the top teams and the ones that languish in mid-table.
Lamela does brilliantly in the area holding up the ball before finding Kane open in front of goal. Kane shoots and Rui Patricio makes the save only for Kane to fire home the rebound.
Spurs have done well not to concede so far this half, Wolves have been magnificent they've broken Tottenham down on multiple occasions and are winning the ball back quickly starving Spurs of possession.
Costa makes a good run and finds Jimenez in the box. Jimenez shoots and forces Lloris into the save. Wolves recover and come at Tottenham again this time with Costa who tries to squeeze the ball in on the near post but Lloris makes another save. Wolves are on fire at the minute. Spurs are asleep.
Wolves have started okay, they are working the right hand side trying to squeeze into a gap before they switch the play to the left, Trippier wins the ball for Spurss and boots it forward.
3 added minutes ended the first half. Spurs are in complete control in this match, they've responded well after Dembele's injury and have been rewarded for patient play with two goals.
Spurs break and Lamela gets the ball in space in Wolves' box. He takes the ball away from goal and tries to cross it back in but the angle is too difficult and it sails over everyone's heads.
Wolves win a free kick and deliver it into the box hoping to get back into this game. Tottenham are well set up though and they head the ball away with ease.
Lucas Moura receives the ball out wide on the left. He turns back inside splitting two defenders and tries to find Kane with a cross into the box. Rui Patricio is aware though and catches the ball first.
Kane takes a shot from 25 yards out. He's full of confidence now as is his team. It's low and Rui Patricio fumbles the ball, thankfully for Wolves no Tottenham players followed it in.
Two now for Spurs, Son flicks the ball out to Trippier on the right wing, he floats a ball into the box and Lucas Moura has a free header. He heads it well and no-ones going to stop that!
Lamela does well out on the right linking with Trippier to keep the ball, he gives it to Son on the edge of the box and Son returns the pass. Lamela brings it down on his chest immaculate and fires home a low shot giving Spurs the lead.
Bennett bring down Son before he can send the ball to Moura on the break and earns himself a yellow card. Jonny gets into the box and tries to lay the ball off to Jimenez but Tottenham clear it away.
