Alexandre Lacazette’s brilliant curling finished ensured that Liverpool did not leave The Emirates with a Premier League win following James Milner’s strike gave the visitors a deserved lead after half-time.
Bernd Leno’s parry from a cross fell to Milner at the edge of the box and he hammered it beyond the Arsenal goalkeeper to make up for Liverpool having a dubious goal ruled out for offside and hitting the post.
The midfielder’s striker proved to not be enough and the points were shared after Lacazette rounded Alisson, kept his composure and curled an effort into the one section of the goal that was not covered by a Liverpool defender.
