Arsenal bounced back from their defeat against Liverpool with a 4-1 victory over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.
Granit Xhaka opened the scoring midway through the first half before Alexandre Lacazette doubled the advantage after the break.
Fulham pulled one back through substitute Aboubakar Kamara but late strikes from Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed a crucial victory for the Gunners.
The game could have been very difficult if Ryan Sessegnon took advantage of two early chances.
The 18-year-old, who came off the bench to score twice in successive games for Fulham, was rewarded with a start and made an impact once again - but not the impact what he would have wanted.
Having been put through on goal by Tom Cairney, he went through one-on-one with Bernd Leno before striking wide and then completely missed the ball when he looked sure to tap home.
That would prove costly as Arsenal struck the opener just minutes later before going on to complete a comfortable victory.
