Arsenal vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Prediction, tickets, team news, live stream, TV, H2H - Europa League preview

Unai Emery is under heavy pressure as Arsenal return to the relative comforts of Europa League football against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.

Alexandre Lacazette's late strike earned Arsenal a scarcely-deserved 2-2 Premier League draw against Southampton on Saturday - a goal which quite possibly saved Emery's job despite the loud boos from an angry Emirates crowd.

In contrast to their stuttering domestic displays, Arsenal's Europa form has been good as they sit top of Group F after four games. The Gunners will go through if they avoid defeat against Eintracht, or if Standard Liege lose - but Emery needs a performance that shows the squad is still with him.

Recent reports suggest that Emery is on the brink of losing the dressing room, so both his lineup and the application of those players who do start could speak volumes about whether the Spaniard has a future at the club.

Europa League preview

Arsenal vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Venue:
Emirates Stadium
Kick-off time: 8pm GMT, Thursday 28 November

Prediction: Arsenal 3-2 Eintracht

Arsenal won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Germany, but did not have things all their own way as poor finishing and defensive mistakes cost the hosts.

Eintracht are likely to fancy their chances after watching Southampton take the game to the Gunners, but the hosts should see out a result. - providing they bring their shooting boots.
