Arsenal vs Crystal Palace: Prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream, h2h results, odds today

Arsenal host Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight - (ES Composite)

Arsenal entertain Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight, looking to delay Liverpool’s title party by at least a few more days.

Liverpool are on the verge of sealing a second Premier League crown after their narrow 1-0 win over Leicester on Sunday, which relegated the Foxes. They are now just three points away from a 20th top-flight title overall, which would match the record held by rivals Manchester United.

While Mikel Arteta recently said he would never give up on the title, Arsenal have prioritised the Champions League for a number of weeks - and been rewarded with a first semi-final for 16 years against Paris Saint-Germain, with the first leg coming up next week.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, recovered from back-to-back five-goal thumpings with a 0-0 draw against Bournemouth last time out, but know their hopes of qualifying for Europe next season now rest on winning the FA Cup, with a Wembley semi-final against Aston Villa on the way on Saturday.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace team news

Bukayo Saka has avoided serious injury after seeing Ipswich’s Leif Davis rake his studs down the back of his ankle, but it would perhaps be a surprise to see him start a second game in four days.

That would open the door for Ethan Nwaneri to start, alongside a return for Myles Lewis-Skelly, who was rested for the trip to Ipswich after excelling against Real Madrid. Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber are also in line to start.

Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori are still out, along with long-term absentees Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Crystal Palace are struggling for centre-back cover again after Chris Richards was sent off against Bournemouth, with the obvious choice being Nathaniel Clyne as one of the back three. Ben Chilwell has been ruled out with illness.

Eddie Nketiah is available to face his former club and is in line to start, with Jean-Philippe Mateta potentially rested ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa. Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure are both out for the season.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace prediction

Arsenal cruised to victory at the weekend over Ipswich, firmly coasting on a wave after beating Real Madrid home and away. Arteta will make changes for a third game in eight days, but their threat will be little diminished.

Crystal Palace may well have one eye on their trip to Wembley at the weekend, and will again have to field a somewhat makeshift defence. This all plays into the Gunners' hands.

Arsenal to win, 2-0.
