Arsenal XI vs Brighton: Team news and lineups for Freddie Ljungberg's first starting XI at the Emirates

Hector Bellerin returns from injury to start for Arsenal against Brighton as Freddie Ljungberg oversees his first Emirates match as interim head coach.

Ljungberg makes three changes with club-record signing Nicolas Pepe remained among the substitutes as Bellerin and Sokratis Papastathopoulos return along with Lucas Torreira.

Bellerin has recovered from a hamstring problem to start at right-back, while Sokratis partners David Luiz at centre-back.

Granit Xhaka and Torreira are in holding midfield, with Joe Willock, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of them.

Shkodran Mustafi, Calum Chambers and Matteo Guendouzi make way after starting the 2-2 draw at Norwich.

Brighton boss Graham Potter, who won on his last visit to Arsenal as manager of Swedish outfit Ostersunds, makes two alterations as Neal Maupay and Steven Alzate are recalled from the team that narrowly lost at Liverpool.
