Arsenal vs Bournemouth
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Emirates Stadium, London
Date: Wednesday, February 27, 2019
Kick-off: 7:45pm GMT
Arsenal will be looking to extend their impressive home record when they welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Unai Emery's side beat Southampton 2-0 on Sunday with goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to make it 13 games without defeat at home.
The Gunners climbed into the top four above Manchester United and are now three points clear of Chelsea in sixth after their triumph.
Their opponents Bournemouth have gone three games without winning after their famous 4-0 win over Chelsea and threw away two points after drawing 1-1 with Wolves.
The Cherries are also on a dismal run away from home, losing eight games in a row on the road - a run that stretches back to October.
Arsenal team news and predicted line-up
Emery should be able to count on Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alex Iwobi for the game on Wednesday despite the pair limping off in the win over Southampton.
Veteran full-back Lichtsteiner came off in the second half with a lower back problem while Iwobi picked up a knock, but both should be fit for the clash.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles could also return after missing Sunday's game due to illness.
Hector Bellerin and Danny Welbeck remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
Arsenal XI: Leno; Mustafi, Sokratis, Koscielny; Lichtsteiner, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Aubameyang, Lacazette, Iwobi
Score prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Bournemouth
The Gunners have looked far more comfortable playing in front of their own fans this season and should record another victory over a Bournemouth team who have struggled away from the south coast.
It's worth noting that in this fixture last season, Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 home victory over Eddie Howe's side.
