Arsenal vs Bournemouth prediction and odds ahead of Premier League clash

Arsenal could go as far as eight points ahead of Manchester City if results go their way on Saturday when they welcome a Bournemouth side struggling to get some consistency in their performances. Mikel Arteta goes into this weekend after watching his side thrash Everton 4-0 at home just a month after they were humbled at Goodison Park.

The Gunners go into this match as the favourites at 1/5 with Betfred while the Cherries are 14/1 longshots to produce a shock as they fight to avoid relegation this season and a draw is 11/2. The hosts have not lost at the Emirates in all six home meetings in all competitions with an impressive aggregate score of 17-2.

With Gabriel Jesus still out of action, Arteta will be looking towards Eddie Nketiah to lead the attack and is 11/10 to score anytime with Bukayo Saka (6/4) and Gabriel Martinelli (6/4) supporting on the wings. Their convincing win against Everton suggests Bournemouth could suffer a similar fate with over 2.5 goals from the Gunners priced at evens.

Gary O'Neill's side sit just a point from safety as they sit 19th in the table and have won five points from a possible 15 in their last five matches. They face Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa before the international break before seven matches in April ending in a six-pointer against Leeds United.
