Arsenal vs Benfica live stream: Team news, prediction and odds

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be busy preparing his side mentally as they travel 2,000 miles away from the Emirates Stadium for their "home leg" against Benfica.

The Gunners travel to Greece for their home leg against the Portuguese giants, travelling further for their return leg than the away leg over in Lisbon last week.

Neither side could be separated at the Stadium of Light last week thanks to Bukayo Saka immediately responding to Pizza's second-half penalty as the aggregate score stands at 1-1.

Former midfielder Arteta knows how important an away goal is but knows having to go to Karaiskaki Stadium in Pireas will be far from the familiar preparation for a home tie.

He said: "I think it's different. The away goal is always important but in this case, in this context I don't think it's that relevant.

"We take the game like there is everything still to play for. It's the second half of the game and we need to go there to try to go to win the game. Because any other thing, without the fans, without being in our stadium or anything, I think makes the game very tricky."

Lowdown

Arsenal go into this match requiring a goalless draw or a win to proceed to the next round.

Historically, Benfica are unbeaten against the Gunners.
