Eberechi Eze scored the first north London derby hat-trick since 1978 as Arsenal thumped rivals Tottenham 4-1 to move six points clear of Chelsea at the top of the Premier League ahead of next week’s trip to Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal dominated from the outset as Thomas Frank’s side arrived at the Emirates in a back-five, and the breakthrough finally came in the 37th minute as Leandro Trossard finished off a delightful chip from Mikel Merino.
Eze, who could have joined Tottenham in the summer before he chose to move to Arsenal, then found space in the box to thump in a deserved second before half time - although Tottenham were aggrieved that it was allowed to stand.
Tottenham did not have a shot in the first half and Gary Neville was scathing in his criticism on Sky Sports, accusing the visitors of a lack of “courage” because of their defensive approach. “They've showed nothing, it's been basic,” Neville said. "To me, that's game over unless Thomas Frank does something remarkable."
After Eze scored his second immediately after the restart, Richarlison did produce some magic - scoring from 40 yards with Tottenham’s first shot on target. But Eze then wrapped up the win by completing his hat-trick and sending Arsenal six points clear ahead of a blockbuster trip to second-placed Chelsea next Sunday.
Tottenham boss Frank, meanwhile, apologised for his side’s toothless display as Arsenal seized the bragging rights in style.

Inside Eberechi Eze and Mikel Arteta’s plan that allowed Arsenal to finally click
07:15 , Miguel DelaneyIn the week before Eberechi Eze took charge of the north London derby, and electrified the fixture, he was actually supposed to be taking it a bit easier. The 27-year-old had been given two days off after international duty with England, but insisted on getting back to Arsenal’s London Colney training ground after just one. “He wants to learn,” Mikel Arteta beamed.
The Arsenal staff have been hugely excited about Eze’s evolution, but the description from the training ground over the past few months has been that he’s been a bit “tight” in his play. In other words, that he hasn’t yet felt fully relaxed in his role.
They started to see the impact on Sunday. The excited belief in the camp throughout the game and afterwards was that this was when it clicked for Eze.
How Eberechi Eze made a mockery of Tottenham and changed Arsenal’s Premier League fate
06:15 , Miguel DelaneyThe stuff of club history, and maybe future champions. If it’s still far too early to say this will be seen as the day when Mikel Arteta’s side won the 2025-26 title, it is undeniably the afternoon that Eberechi Eze launched himself as an Arsenal player. Scoring a hat-trick in a north London derby will do that, especially when it was just the fourth in the history of the fixture and the first since 1978. There was of course the added edge that he was so close to signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
They could barely get near him in this 4-1 defeat. Even some within the club were rolling their eyes that this is the essence of Tottenham, but it’s bigger than that. Eze took charge, and took off. The supreme third goal was some way to crown it all.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank apologises for ‘extremely painful’ defeat to Arsenal
05:15 , Jamie BraidwoodTottenham manager Thomas Frank and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario apologised to Spurs supporters for the lack of “fight” the team showed in the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal in the north London derby.
Frank called the performance “extremely painful” as Eberechi Eze scored a stunning hat-trick in a one-sided derby where the visitors barely landed a punch, aside from Richarlison’s speculative shot from 40 yards that beat David Raya.
Goalkeeper Vicario did not blame Tottenham’s performance on tactics, with Spurs boss Frank changing his formation to a defensive back-five against the Premier League leaders, but accepted that the players did not compete.
Under Frank, who replaced Ange Postecoglou in the summer, Tottenham have fallen to defeats against rivals Arsenal and Chelsea where they have hardly threatened the opposition goal and struggled to create big chances.

Thomas Frank takes responsibility for heavy Tottenham defeat
04:15 , Jamie BraidwoodIt was a chastening way for Tottenham to lose their unbeaten away record this season, despite Thomas Frank picking a notably defensive starting line-up.
“Where do you want me to start,” Frank shrugged afterwards. “I’m a very big believer that no matter what system you play, you can be successful. So the full responsibility will always be on me.
“Today, when we had the ball I picked a team that played 5-4-1. I changed it at half-time, and they scored. Very, very clever. And then the rest is history.”

Why was Eberechi Eze’s first goal against Tottenham allowed to stand?
03:15 , Jamie BraidwoodEberechi Eze’s first goal against Tottenham in the north London derby has reignited the debate around the offside rule in the Premier League.
The Arsenal forward found space inside the Tottenham box to slam the Gunners into a deserved two-goal lead before half-time at the Emirates.
But Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario appealed that he could not see the ball because there were offside Arsenal players blocking his view.

Mikel Arteta praises Eberechi Eze's 'talent and desire'
02:15 , Jamie Braidwood“He wanted to improve, and he wanted to do extra practice and he was asking me questions about this and that.
“When a player has such a talent, and his desire is at that level, then these things happen. And he fully deserves it.
“I’m so happy for him, because since the day that he came, he brought something else to the team.
“So it’s a joy, it’s an aura that this team needed and hopefully it will give him a lot of confidence, to him and the team, that at any moment he can win us a game.”
Eberechi Eze asked for extra training before destroying Tottenham in derby
01:15 , Jamie BraidwoodMikel Arteta revealed Eberechi Eze was determined to make his mark in his first north London derby after his sparkling hat-trick sunk Tottenham 4-1.
Eze, who was on the verge of joining Spurs from Crystal Palace this summer until Arsenal hijacked the £67.5m move at the 11th hour, twisted the knife with a stunning treble.
He became only the third Arsenal player, after Ted Drake in 1934 and Alan Sunderland in 1978, to score three times against their fierce rivals.

Jamie Carragher pinpoints the only thing that will stop Arsenal winning the Premier League
00:15 , Chris WilsonJamie Carragher claimed that “the only team that can stop Arsenal winning the Premier League is Arsenal” after the Gunners ran rampant in a 4-1 win over local rivals Tottenham to open up a six-point lead at the top of the table.
A hat-trick from Eberechi Eze – the first in the north London derby since 1978 – helped Mikel Arteta’s side to thumping win at the Emirates, with the dominant nature of the performance further underlining the Gunners’ title credentials.
And Carragher was quick to highlight that Arsenal are the clear favourites for the title, after Manchester City’s defeat at Newcastle and amid champions Liverpool’s dismal run of results under Arne Slot, explaining that the Gunners are the best team in the league.

'They looked like tiddlywinks': Les Ferdinand in disbelief at Tottenham
23:15 , Chris WilsonLes Ferdinand was still almost in disbelief at the end of Sky’s coverage.
"We just didn't compete. Whatever derby you turn up to, you know it's going to be hostile, you know it's going to be fierce. It just didn't look like that today,” he explained.
"They looked like tiddlywinks. They just didn't compete the whole game.
"If you're a Spurs fan now, you're frustrated as anything. We've spoken about how they've gone to the best team in the league at this moment in time.
"So what do you want to do? You want to have a go. We laid down today and got absolutely rolled over,” the former Spurs striker added.

Thierry Henry full of praise for Eberechi Eze
22:15 , Chris WilsonFormer Arsenal striker Thierry Henry was full of praise for his old side on Sky, singling out Eberechi Eze for his “composure”.
“He's calm. The way he speaks is the same way. But what I like about him is the way he is in the game today; he finds a way to be in and around the box.
"Especially on one of the goals, you will see, pull away from everybody to make sure he can have time to execute.
"And we all know he can finish. I mean, I mean, I know he's with us now, but when you look at him at Palace, and the way they reposition him under Mateta, suddenly, as a 10, he started to see the game a different way with a guy that can play, that can play for him.
"And obviously today was different because he didn't have a proper No 9 with but that's why I think it was easier for him to get in the box today, because you don't have the presence of a No 9. He was a No 9 at times,” he added.

Ferdinand critical of Spurs
21:45 , Chris WilsonLes Ferdinand has continued his scathing criticism of Spurs on Sky.
"When they came here today, five at the back. You think to yourself, if you can perform like they did against PSG, because we saw that and they had a go,” he explained.
"It wasn't a negative five at the back, it was front foot. We're going to have a go, we're going to impress people.
"It wasn't a five star performance from Arsenal. Scoreline was five star, but there was no fight. Arsenal didn't get out of third gear.
"You expect a little bit of spark. Arsenal have got three players who haven't played in a north London derby before. Tottenham probably had one. But there was nothing. At the start of the week I was thinking about this game. Nothing the players did out there felt like a north London derby,” he added.

'The only team that can stop Arsenal winning the league is Arsenal'
21:15 , Chris WilsonJamie Carragher says that Arsenal themselves are the only thing that can stop them winning the league!
"The first couple of years, they were up against Man City, we all felt Man City were a better team than them,” he said.
"They probably let themselves down a little bit last season, how far off they were from Liverpool.
"The only team that can stop Arsenal winning the league is Arsenal; they are the best team. They are the best squad,” he explained.
"The only thing that can stop them is their own heads, their own mentality. Maybe this crowd getting nervous in March and April, if the league is still for grabs by then.
"This would be the one. If they didn't win it, I think we'd all point the finger at them and say, 'You threw this away. '
"I don't think that's ever been the case before. I always think the case has been that there has been a team slightly better than them in the Premier League, but that is definitely not the case this season,” he added.

Thierry Henry thinks Arsenal need to embrace tag as favourites
20:45 , Chris Wilson"At some point, you have to embrace it” says Thierry Henry on Arsenal’s status as Premier League favourites.
“People are talking about the process. It's not believing in the process anymore. It's happening. You have to be honest.
"We put ourselves in the situation where we believe we have the best squad.
"Did we mention the players that were not playing? Look at how we played. You're not complaining anymore about one or two.
"So you need to make sure that you can win the league. I'm not saying they are going to win it but you need to act like you are the favourite.
"Embrace it. It's not me trying to put pressure. If I were coming back in the summer, I would have said, 'It's time to stop messing around'.
"We now need a performance this year where people are scared of us. It's not being cocky,” he added.

Next up
20:15 , Chris WilsonArsenal’s next fixture is a huge Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, with that one taking place at the Emirates on Wednesday.
Spurs face a big European fixture of their own, with a trip to holders PSG coming up on the same evening.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank apologises for ‘extremely painful’ defeat to Arsenal

More from Arteta
19:50 , Chris WilsonArteta was also asked about the importance of bringing Eberechi Eze in this summer, and he had this to say:
"We had the news that we had and we had the window and the fans were really supportive and Andrea [Berta] was important in delivering that as well. We have Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard just came back, Noni Madueke just came back so thank God we have replacements."
On more ‘unsung’ heroes such as Merino and Trossard, he adds: "Unbelievable. They have been so consistent as well and credit to them. They are able to play in different positions. Pierro [Hincapie] as well, it is a big task to replace Gabriel. He was excellent from the beginning."
He finishes by saying “I don’t know” when asked if Arsenal are going to be difficult to stop in the title race.
“You have to go game by game and the league is so tough, the margins teams are winning games now is so reduced. We have to maintain our momentum, enjoy today and then tomorrow, Bayern Munich,” he explained.
More from Arteta
19:40 , Chris WilsonMikel Arteta also spoke to Sky Sports, and he said he “enjoyed every minute of it” today.
“The preparation since they came back from the international break, the enthusiasm, he joy, the hunger.
“And then when you are able to play in the manner we played and performance in the manner we did and to win with the goals that we scored against our rivals always leaves a very special day.
"We certainly wanted to impose ourselves sin every department but it has to start with intensity and the duels. They're a very good team and we have to earn it. We started really strong and really intense and created a big chance with Declan straight away and we had to be patient. We looked very dominant and then in the second half we maintained the consistency. There are things to improve but it was a great performance.
"We prepared (for a five-at-the-back) and obviously we didn't know. The moment we got the line-up, we made the judgement that we had to make and then the players delivered an incredible performance.
"We tried to understand how they can be thinking and what we believe they could do. Our job is to be prepared and then simplify the gameplan as much as possible. Then the players have to deliver and they certainly did that today,” he added.

Arteta: 'It's a beautiful day'
19:30 , Chris WilsonArsenal boss Mikel Arteta calls it “a very special day for us” on Match of the Day.
“We knew the importance of the match and what it means to our fans. To be able to give them that joy, it's a beautiful day,” he says.
On Eze’s hattrick, he adds : "That tells you about the difficulty and what he's done today. To be fair he could have scored four or five. He's a big player who can create magic moments which unbalance a team.
"We dominated every part of the game. We created massive chances and had a lot of actions that we were very close to scoring. We stayed patient.
"Whoever we put in there they do the jobs for us. This squad has the belief and quality to deliver consistently.
"We have really good momentum but you can see how difficult every game in the Premier League is. It's a long run, let's go game by game. Let's enjoy tonight, then we have Bayern here and Chelsea away. We have a tough week,” he added as he finished.
More from Frank
19:20 , Chris WilsonHere’s more from Thomas Frank:
"The goals I want to see more in detail. The whole game I need to watch tonight and it will be a difficult watch. We were not aggressive and stepped forward when we could and they played it round us.
On his side’s lack of creativity, he says: "That has been an ongoing theme that we are working hard to improve. It doesn't look good today or against Chelsea. We need to keep working on it.
"There were a lot of things in this game we need to do better. We are four months into it and they are further in their journey as a team and that was very obvious today. Of course there will be noise. We played against our biggest rivals and we lost badly. But we keep noise out and we focus. I know this team is competitive and we showed that against Man City and PSG. Of course it looks bad today and it was not good enough,” he added.

Frank apologises to fans
19:11 , Chris WilsonThomas Frank calls the results "extremely painful”.
“I won't talk away from that. It was a bad performance. It was completely the opposite of what the intention was when we came here,” he says.
“We can only apologise to the fans for the performance. I think no matter if both teams wanted to play shirt, they got more out of that and we couldn't get out. When the team went long, we didn't win enough duels. That is exemplified by the 2-0 goal and the 3-0 goal, where a player went through two or three players. Bad performance and we lost.
"I have seen a lot of character and fight in this team but we didn't win enough duels. We can call that whatever we want but we didn't win enough.
"I tried to play a 5-4-1. I will always take responsibility as my choice in the end to take the system then and we changed it at half-time. My vie won it is that no matter what formation we play today, we don't have enough duels or intensity in the decisive moments, and it is very difficult to win a football match,” he added.
Why was Eberechi Eze’s first goal against Tottenham allowed to stand?
19:06 , Chris WilsonEberechi Eze’s first goal against Tottenham in the north London derby has reignited the debate around the offside rule in the Premier League.

Vicario reacts
19:02 , Chris WilsonSpurs ‘keeper Vicario calls it "a very bad night for us” as he speaks to Sky.
“First of all we have to apologise to the people that support us every day. They expected us to fight and today we didn't fight. That's not negotiable to do in football in this level,” he said.
"It's a tough night, a very bad defeat, but we have to stick together. We have a big night on Wednesday but we need to stick together. Tonight we didn't show the things we are normally capable of.
"The emotions are high, but we need cool heads and apologise to the people that support us and have travelled today.
"I think we waited too much to get into the game. We were too passive. The game plan we prepared was different. Today we didn't fight. We have to apologise first of all for this. But we have to stick together and move on because on Wednesday we have a big night,” he added.
On Arsenal's second goal, he says: "I think the way the game went it wouldn't have changed anything. There were three people in front of me so of course they impacted me. But we didn't lose the game for that."

Ferdinand labels Spurs 'embarrassing'
18:51 , Chris WilsonFormer Tottenham striker Les Ferdinand has called Spurs “embarrassing” today.
"Tottenham were that bad today. It's embarrassing to watch. Halfway through this game I was hoping I could go in the box with Michael McIntyre. I didn't want to watch anymore,” he said.
"You can't come to Arsenal in the North London Derby and not put everything on the line.
"I think the manager got his tactics wrong today.
"He came here to be negative and to sit back and try and hold Arsenal off, and I think that just sent out the wrong message to the players, because they just couldn't get out again.
"Arsenal scored the first goal, and that was it. Tottenham were done,” he added.

“It’s special. I’m grateful again, I prayed for it today so I’m grateful to God. That was the prayer, a hattrick, that’s fate,” he said.
“All my family is here, [it] makes it even more special.
On his goals, he says: “They were all good, maybe the second one [was best]. The timing of it, it was the right time, but all of them are good for me.”
“Let’s not speak about that!” he adds on his potential move to Spurs in the summer.

Spurs have not threatened at all, failing to register a single shot in the opening 45, and it has been very poor in many ways from Frank’s side.
It only looks like going one way from here, and we’ll bring you all the updates from the second half soon.
Neville scathing in Spurs criticism
17:27 , Chris WilsonGary Neville has vey little time for the Spurs approach so far this afternoon.
"Spurs have to have some courage on the ball. They've showed nothing in these 40 minutes, it's been basic,” he said on Sky.
"It's mayhem - North London delight for Arsenal!
“I'm happy for them, they deserve it. And so do Tottenham for what they've done... those white shirts are like mannequins.
“To me, that's game over unless Thomas Frank does something remarkable,” he added, highlighting how the visitors have had zero shots so far this afternoon.
HALF-TIME! Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham

HALF-TIME! Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
17:19 , Chris WilsonThe referee brings the first half to an end and Arsenal have a deserved lead at the Emirates.
Arteta’s side have dominated from the start but it took a little while to find the moments of real quality to break the deadlock before Eze’s goal leaves Spurs with a mountain to climb.
Not a single shot for the visitors in the first half, and plenty to ponder for Thomas Frank.

Tempers flaring as Udogie tussles with Timber near halfway, but both escape without a booking.
Vicario tries to find teammates in the area with the free-kick but it’s straight to an Arsenal player.

Frank is in deep discussions with his staff now, and this match is threatening to get away from the visitors.
Spurs have paid the price for a lack of ambition in this half.
GOAL! Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
17:13 , Chris Wilson41 mins
GOAL! The hosts have a second and they might have wrapped up the win already!
It’s another moment of real quality too from Eze.
Danso heads the cross clear but straight to Rice, who taps the pass to Eze on the edge of the area.
The England man skips past a last-ditch challenge before rifling a low effort past Vicario to double the lead!

Arsenal find themselves ahead and it’s nothing less than they deserve. They haven't had many clear-cut chances but they’re the only side trying to win this at the moment...
GOAL! Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham
17:08 , Chris Wilson36 mins
GOAL! We mentioned moments of quality, and there are two absolutely superb moments here as the hosts go ahead!
It’s mostly the work of Merino, who picks the ball up and briefly looks like going backwards before clipping a brilliant pass into the path of Trossard.
The Belgian brings it down on the penalty spot and while the touch is a little bit behind him, he spins and fires into the bottom corner to give his side the lead!

Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Not one for the neutral so far in north London. Arsenal are in control without really creating anything since the second minute or so.
They can often rely on moments of quality from the likes of Saka though and that is what happens here, with the winger skipping past van de Ven superbly before Bentancur brings him down in a similar position to that earlier free-kick, around 20 yards out on the right-hand edge of the area.
This is a much better effort, curled towards the far post and forcing Vicario to dive across and punch away!

Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham
17:00 , Chris Wilson29 mins
For all their lack of coherent attacking, Spurs’ defending has certainly done a decent job of frustrating Arsenal here so far. There are plenty of bodies around the likes of Eze whenever he gets the ball in advanced positions.
Arsenal have lost some of their early tempo but there are still questions over how long Spurs can keep up this energy, with Saka close to playing in Timber in behind moments ago.

Spence does well to win a free-kick the under pressure near his own box but Vicario is so wasteful, booting it straight out for an Arsenal goal kick.
Not even trying to keep possession in midfield right now.
Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham
16:52 , Chris Wilson21 mins
Spurs are struggling to keep possession when they do have it here, with Arsenal quick to suffocate them when they do win it.
Thomas Frank is barking instructions to his players but he’s unlikely to be very happy with what he’s seeing here, even though his gameplan is clearly to disrupt the Gunners.
64 per cent possession for the hosts so far.
Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham
16:49 , Chris Wilson18 mins
Udogie gives away a cheap foul on Saka near the right-hand edge of the box, and this is a great set-piece chance for the Gunners. It’ll be Saka to swing it in...
He actually opts for more of a shot, trying to sweep it into the far corner – so that even the slightest of touches would turn it in – but the effort flies over, clipping the top of the net on its way over.

Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham
16:46 , Chris Wilson15 mins
Trossard is fine to carry on and the hosts are back on the offensive straight away, though Spurs come away unscathed again after Kudus manages to win a goal kick.
Not a lot in terms of clear-cut chances since that Rice effort, but the hosts have started strongly at the Emirates and they’re already piling on the pressure.

Trossard needs treatment now after a heavy challenge from Palhinha.
It’s a bit of respite for Spurs, who have been pinned in in the last few minutes.

A big block from Romero there as Merino lined up a strike in the box. The Spurs captain is livid with some of his teammates for allowing the chance at all.
Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

A big early challenge on Merino from van de Ven, before Richarlison does the same on Eze. No yellow cards yet, though we might not be far off if that continues.
A poor Vicario clearance allows Arsenal the chance to create something, but they’re forced backwards for now.
Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham
16:35 , Chris Wilson5 mins
Spurs had had some early touches in and around midfield before that chance but they’ve haven’t managed to properly get forward yet.
Conversely, the hosts look fairly settled in possession already, as you might expect.
Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

CLOSE! Almost an opener just after the second minute!
It all comes from some magic from Eze, who gets the ball in the ‘D’ before lifting a lovely chip into the path of Rice, who lashes an effort straight at Vicario.
The rebound almost comes off the defender and into the Spurs net but the hosts settle for a corner, and nothing comes of Rice’s delivery.

KICK-OFF! Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Arsenal v Tottenham live
16:25 , Chris WilsonBoth sides are about to emerge from the tunnel at the Emirates, so we’ll be underway soon.
Can leaders Arsenal pull six points clear, or will their bitter rivals put another question mark over their title credentials?
We’ll find out very soon.

Match stats
16:20 , Chris WilsonArsenal have scored in each of their last 26 Premier League home games against Tottenham, netting at least twice in each of the last eight.
The Gunners have only conceded once in eight home games in all competitions this season, with Erling Haaland netting for Man City in a 1-1 draw in September.
However, Tottenham are the only side still unbeaten away from home in the Premier League this season (W4 D1). Indeed, Spurs have the joint-most points (13), the joint-most goals (12) and the fewest goals conceded (3) of any side on the road this term.
What the managers said
16:15 , Chris WilsonOn the derby itself, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta had the following to say:
"It's a big city but it's a big rivalry in this part of London. We have been more dominant in recent years and it is just beautiful to play it at home. We know what it means to them [the fans] and what energy they are going to bring. We can't wait."
§He added that Tottenham "will be very tough" opponents, adding: "You have to earn the right to be where you are. Their record has been very good away from home. No one gives you anything in this league."
What the managers said
16:10 , Chris WilsonSpurs boss Thomas Frank said that he can “sense it and feel this is important” ahead of his north London derby as a manager.
“You feel from the fans, you feel from the staff members, the players, the people that's been working here for years, this is the big one,” he said.
“I always say the next game is the most important game, but I'm very, very aware there is two games a year that are even more important - this is the first of them and we are ready,” he added.
On the game itself, he said that his side would “definitely embrace controlled chaos or chaos we like to create, because I think chaos is also good”.
“You can also be too structured, too fixed, we need a bit of chaos. Chaos is transitions. Chaos is high pressure. Chaos is set pieces."
Match stats
16:05 , Chris WilsonArsenal have won five of their last six Premier League games against Tottenham (D1), including the last three in a row. It’s their longest winning run against Spurs since a five game stretch between January 1987 and January 1989.
Tottenham have lost seven of their last nine Premier League games against Arsenal (W1 D1), as many defeats as they’d suffered in their previous 25 north London derbies (W9 D9).
Arsenal's upcoming fixtures
15:55 , Chris WilsonMuch has been made of Arsenal’s upcoming run of tough fixtures, so let’s take a look at what the Gunners have coming up.
After this week, Mikel Arteta’s side face arguably their most difficult test of the season so far as they take on Bayern Munich at the Emirates on Wednesday, before a similarly difficult game - perhaps for different reasons – as they travel across the capital to take on Chelsea on Sunday, 30 November.
There’s no rest in the next midweek either, with the Gunners taking on Brentford at home on 3 December, before the most testing part of the run ends a few days later as they travel to Birmingham to face Aston Villa.
Head-to-head
15:45 , Chris WilsonThese two sides have met 211 times in the past, with the first meeting in this rivalry dating back as far as 1896!
Arsenal have had the better of the rivalry so far, winning 89 matches to Spurs’ 67, while 55 have ended as draws.
Spurs have lost five of the last six meetings, with the other one being a draw in September 2023.
Last season, Arsenal won both meetings by a single goal, winning 2-1 in this fixture after a 1-0 away win in September 2024.
Team news
15:34 , Chris WilsonSpurs boss Thomas Frank has made five changes to the side that drew 2-2 to Man Utd before the international break.
It looks like a change of formation from the Dane too, with three at the back in the form of Cristian romero, Micky van de Ven and Kevin Danso, who replaces Pedro Porro.
Died Spence starts at right wing-back, while Destiny Udogie starts on the left, coming in in place of Brennan Johnson.
In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur replaces Pape Sarr, while in the attacking positions, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani make way for Mohammed Kudus and Wilson Odobert, with Richarlison moving to start as striker.
Team news
15:22 , Chris WilsonMikel Arteta has made just one change to the side that drew to Sunderland last time out, with the big news being that he has decided to use loan signing Piero Hincapie at centre-back to replace the injured Gabriel.
Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori continue at full-back, while the trio of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Ebere Eze looks to dominate midfield.
Mikel Merino leads the line, with Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka flanking him.
