Arsenal transfer target Ryan Fraser speaks out on Bournemouth future

Ryan Fraser expects to be at Bournemouth next season amid interest from Arsenal .

Gunners boss Unai Emery is interested in Scotland international Fraser, who has enjoyed a fine season on the south coast.

Only Eden Hazard has provided more assists than the 25-year-old, who is contracted until the end of next season.

Talks over a new deal are at a standstill and with Eddie Howe refusing to sanction his £20m sale, the chances of him leaving for nothing in a year's time have increased.

Fraser said: "I’ve got a year left. There’s a very good chance I’ll be here next season.

“If that’s that then I’m going to try my best as I always do and I’ll enjoy it.

“I love the group here and the fans. There’s no bad side to what’s happening.

“There’s a good chance I’ll be here next season and I’ll try and beat my assists record next season as well."

Fraser, who is also on Tottenham and Everton's radar, added: “I just love playing football so I just go and play football. I go out on the pitch and try my best and that’s all anyone can do.

“There’s no point in putting stress on yourself or burdens."

Edu Gaspar set for Arsenal return as sporting director 'after agreeing five-year deal'

Bournemouth's victory over Tottenham on Saturday lifted Howe's men to 13th in the table.

They could climb ahead of Crystal Palace into 12th if they beat the Eagles at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Victory would also see Bournemouth beat their best ever points total of 46, secured in 2016/17 when they finished in ninth.
