Arsenal fans have reacted with excitement to Le Havre star Pape Gueye sending Matteo Guendouzi a message on Instagram.
The 21-year-old midfielder is a reported Gunners transfer target, and has been linked with a £5million move to the Emirates in the summer window.
It seems Gueye already has a friend at the north London club in 20-year-old Guendouzi, who he sent a message to on Instagram this week.
Responding to an image of the Frenchman on the ball during Arsenal's warm-weather training camp in Dubai, Gueye simply wrote: "Guendouzzz," alongside the kissing and hurricane emojis.
Gunner supporters spotted the message and reacted accordingly.
"Agent Guendouzi. First Saliba, then Upamecano and now Pape Gueye," wrote one fan, who pointed out the Frenchman had been in contact with Saliba on social media prior to him signing for Arsenal.
Another added: "First he spent last summer tapping up Upamecano, this year Guendouzi is once again doing the Lord's work on Pape Gueye," while a third said: "Guendouzi is Arsenal's best recruiter by far. Saliba, Upamecano, Pape Gueye etc."
A fourth Arsenal supporter concluded: "Pape Gueye commented on Guendouzi's Instagram post? Not long until Arsenal Twitter aka: CIA find out Pape's entire family's information."
Gueye, who has previously been compared to a young Paul Pogba, currently plays in Ligue 2 with Le Havre - the same division Guendouzi was playing in when Arsenal signed him from FC Lorient back in 2018.
