Arsenal transfer target Nicolas Tagliafico makes decision on summer move

Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico has announced that he will stay in Amsterdam for another season via the Dutch club's Twitter account.

The Argentina international has impressed many with his displays as his side have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they are 1-0 up against Tottenham after the first leg in London on Tuesday.

Spurs' rivals Arsenal were believed to be keen on the 13-times capped left-back, who was viewed as a potential upgrade on both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac by Unai Emery.

But the 26-year-old now says he'll be in Amsterdam for another season.

"Hello fans, how are you?" he says in the video on Twitter.

"I want to tell you that I will stay for one more season.

"Hopefully it will be a great year, like it is this year.

"A hug to all of you."

Ajax have already lost midfielder Frenkie De Jong to Barcelona for next season, while the likes of Matthijs De Ligt, David Neres, Donny van de Beek and Hakim Ziyech are all being linked with moves away following their spectacular Champions League run.
