Arsenal are looking at potential reinforcements to try and improve for next season, in Mikel Arteta’s first full campaign at the club.
It’s been an impressive start to life at the Emirates Stadium for Arteta, who won the FA Cup in his debut season as manager.
However, the Gunners were unable to finish in the top four, which will be the Spaniard’s main priority ahead of the upcoming season.
Unsurprisingly, Arsenal have been linked with a host of players to bolster their options, and with that being said, here are the very latest transfer rumours.
Willian to sign this weekend
Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Willian this weekend, according to the Daily Mail.
The Brazilian winger left Chelsea after the FA Cup final, with his contract at Stamford Bridge expiring, and he is set to sign a three-year deal with their London rivals.
The deal is set to earn Willian £150,000-a-week, and the report states that the signing will be announced this weekend.
The 32-year-old was a key player for the Blues last season, scoring nine goals and assisting seven in 36 Premier League appearances.
Coutinho’s social media move
Reported Arsenal target Philippe Coutinho has just started following the Gunners’ trio, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Cedric Soares and Gabriel Martinelli.
This move from the former Liverpool star has attracted much attention from Arsenal supporters, who have been keeping an eye on his social media posts in recent months.
Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich - as they’re still in the Champions League - and is set to return to his parent club, Barcelona, in the upcoming season.
However, according to reports, Barca are keen to offload the Brazil midfielder due to his high wage bill, with a host of Premier League sides - including Arsenal - reportedly keen on him.
Real eye Lacazette swap deal
Real Madrid could offer one of their strikers for Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette, according to DonBalon, via CaughtOffside.
Lacazette is deemed to be a player in the same sort of bracket as Karim Benzema, with Real looking for an interesting deal for the Frenchman.
Luka Jovic is perhaps the man who would be offered to the Gunners, after an underwhelming start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The France striker has struggled to play consistent first-team football under Arteta, and could look to move on from the Emirates.
