Arsenal may have received a Thomas Partey boost after Atletico Madrid reportedly agreed to terms with Lucas Torreira.
Atletico want to sign the Arsenal midfielder in preparation for Partey leaving before the summer transfer window deadline on October 5.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Torreira. has agreed to leave for the Spanish side, with Mundo Deportivo also reporting that Atletico are fighting hard to acquire his signature.
Arsenal still want to sign Partey but Atletico are eager to receive a £45 million transfer fee for his services.
Coutinho transfer plan
Arsenal are plotting a late bid for Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.
The Gunners reportedly don't want to give up on the Barcelona midfielder, who was on loan at Bayern Munich last season.
