Arsenal will return to action next Sunday as Mikel Arteta's side prepare for a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United in the Premier League.
The Gunners will be looking to bounce back to the recent disappointing defeat to Aston Villa, but will face a tough task in Yorkshire.
With the January window now on the horizon, Arteta could be tempted to ask the club's board for some more funds in order to improve his squad. As well as that, the Gunners will be aiming to offload any unwanted players in order to generate some spending power.
In light of this, here are the latest transfer rumours on Arsenal.
Mustafi eyed by Barcelona
Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is a target for Barcelona, according to Spanish news outlet Sport.
Mustafi is currently out-of-favour at the Gunners, and has played just twice this season in the Premier League.
However, Ronald Koeman is interested in bringing the German defender to the Camp Nou as a fourth centre-back option, with the likes of Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique already at the club.
As well as the Arsenal defender, Barcelona are also keen on Liverpool centre-half Joel Matip and Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger.
Hungary boss on Szoboszlai future
Hungary manager Marco Rossi believes Dominik Szoboszlai should move to the Bundesliga.
Szoboszlai has been linked with a switch to the Gunners recently, as well as Italian giants Napoli, as he continues to impress for Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian top-flight.
Rossi told CalcioNapoli24 TV via JustArsenal: "I've never talked to him about Napoli's interest. I wouldn't mind if he moved to Napoli in Italy, living in Pozzuoli, I could see him more often. My feeling is that he is more likely to end up in Germany: he is ready to make the leap, going to the Bundesliga, the pace is less long. The Austrian football of Salzburg is similar to that of the Bundesliga."
West Ham win race for Nigerian youngster
West Ham United have won the race for Nigerian centre-back Justin Osagie from Southend United despite Arsenal links.
That's according to All Nigeria Soccer, who claim that the Hammers have beaten the likes of the Gunners, Chelsea, Tottenham, Wolves and Brighton & Hove Albion to the signature of the centre-back.
Osagie came through the Southend academy ranks, meaning the Irons will have to pay the Seasiders compensation. Arsenal tried to sign the youngster, but League Two's bottom team rejected the approach from the North London-based club.
