Arsenal transfer rumours: PSG eye Hector Bellerin, Emiliano Martinez offer, Thomas Partey stance

Mikel Arteta has been slowly rebuilding his Arsenal side this summer but knows more must be done before the transfer window slams shut.

The Gunners added the FA Community Shield to their FA Cup win earlier this summer but have to improve on eighth in the Premier League last season.

Recruiting new talent is key to Arsenal's success this upcoming season and there has been speculation aplenty about what the Gunners might do next.

With that in mind, here is a morning round-up of the latest stories around the Emirates.

PSG want Bellerin

Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with Arsenal to sign Hector Bellerin.

The Spaniard has three years left on his current contract and is also attracting interest from Bayern Munich.

Football.London report that both parties could agree to an amicable parting if PSG meet the Gunners' £35m price tag.

Bellerin is not thought to be anchoring for a move but would equally welcome a new challenge, should Arsenal decide to cash in.

Thomas Partey interest

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey is reportedly open to a move to Arsenal amid persistent speculation linking him with a move to the Emirates.

The Gunners have been tipped to move for Partey for several months now with Mikel Arteta keen to sign the combative Ghanaian.

However, Arsenal are unable to trigger Partey's £44m release clause until sales are confirmed, with Lucas Torreira likely to be one of the casualties.

The Uruguayan has been linked with a return to Serie A, with Fiorentina holding an interest.

Martinez set for Villarreal move?

Unai Emery is plotting a move for Emiliano Martinez if Arsenal tell the goalkeeper that he will not be their first-choice option this season.

Martinez wants to stay at Arsenal but only if he is chosen as Arteta’s Number one ahead of Bernd Leno in the Premier League.

Emery, now at the La Liga club after leaving Arsenal, will bid to sign the Argentinian goalkeeper, report The Telegraph.

The report also states that Arteta is yet to inform either goalkeeper who will start against Fulham on September 12.
