Arsenal transfer rumours: Paulo Dybala offered, Mesut Ozil's stance, John Stones interest

Arsenal's start to the 2020/21 season may force Mikel Arteta and the club's board to look in the transfer market in January.

The transfer window opens in less than a month, and despite a busy summer period for the Gunners - in terms of ins and outs - Arteta may look for more reinforcements to help him finish this campaign strongly.

As well as that, there are a few players currently at the Emirates Stadium that could be looking to leave the north London-based club.

With that said, we have gathered the very latest Arsenal-related transfer stories and rumours.

Dybala offered to Gunners

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has been offered to Arsenal, as well as a host of other Premier League clubs, according to 90Min.

Dybala's representatives are trying to secure their client a move to England, after finding himself on the fringes of Andrea Pirlo's plans this season at the Old Lady.

The Argentina international has now been offered to the Gunners, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, the report claims.

The 27-year-old is also a target for Paris Saint-Germain as they prepare for a potential Kylian Mbappe departure.

Ozil confident of moving to top club

Out-of-favour Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is confident of securing a move to another top club when he leaves the Emirates, according to a report from the Mirror.

Ozil was not included in either of Arteta's Premier League or Europa League squads this season, and with his contract expiring next summer, the Germany international is set to leave north London.

The 32-year-old is currently on a reported £350,000-a-week with the Gunners, but is unlikely to find a club willing to pay those wages when he does move on.

However, Ozil is confident another top club will want to sign him, with the former Real Madrid star desperate to resurrect his career.

Gunners keen on Stones

Arsenal have asked Manchester City to keep them informed about the availability of John Stones, according to 90Min.

Stones has 18 months left on his contract with City, with the English centre-back currently facing fierce competition for places at the Etihad Stadium, alongside Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake.

So far this season, the 26-year-old has made three appearances in the Premier League - including a start in the 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Arteta is a big fan of the former Everton defender, the report states, with his on-the-ball ability a big appeal to the Arsenal boss.
