Arsenal have been active in the transfer window this summer and their biggest deal was announced on Tuesday, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penning a three-year deal.
That has issued the Gunners with a significant boost for the forthcoming season, bringing an end to the speculation that has floated around their captain for the past year.
Mikel Arteta's work is not yet done though as he looks to land further additions in the transfer market, with a number of recruits being targeted.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets concerning the north London side.
£85m double swoop
Arsenal have turned their sights towards an incredible double deal ahead of the closure of the transfer window next month, with a potential £85m outlay.
The Mirror states the Gunners are looking to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid and Houssem Aouar from Lyon to rejuvenate their midfield ranks.
However, Atletico are insisting that Partey's release clause of around £50m is met and Lyon are seeking more than £40m for Aouar's signature.
As such, Arsenal will need to sell to raise funds for these signings with Sead Kolasinac, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira free to leave, while Paris Saint-Germain have held an interest in Hector Bellerin.
No Aouar offer
Lyon's transfer guru Juninho has stated that there have not been any offers so far this summer for Arsenal target Houssem Aouar or Memphis Depay, who is wanted by Barcelona.
Aouar was sent off during last night's 1-0 defeat to Montpellier, which will put him out of action until after the transfer deadline closes next month.
Arsenal are seeking Aouar to rejuvenate their midfield ranks but Juninho, speaking after the defeat, told Telefoot Chaine that no offers have been received.
"For now, there is nothing for these players. We have not received anything for Houssem, we have not received anything for Memphis."
Balogun bid rejected
Arsenal have rejected Sheffield United's £3m bid for striker Folarin Balogun as they are demanding five times as much for a sale, the Mail states.
The Gunners have made Balogun available for a transfer this summer but have slapped a £15m asking price upon the head of the 19-year-old.
In the final year of his deal, Balogun is set to follow Sam Greenwood with an exit from the club as the Gunners have put their faith in Tyreece John-Jules in the next generation.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has made it clear he wants to sign a striker before the transfer window closes and the club are also interested in Liverpool's Rhian Brewster.
