Time is ticking down in this summer's transfer window.
Arsenal have completed four deals so far with Dani Ceballos returning for another loan spell from La Liga giants Real Madrid, while Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Alex Runarsson are the three permanent signings.
But another midfielder is on the agenda, with Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey understood to be a key target, whilst Lyon's Houssem Aouar has also been linked with a move to north London.
There could also be some exits as players look for fresh starts elsewhere.
The Gunners have until Monday, October 5 to finalise moves in and out at the Emirates Stadium as Mikel Arteta looks to further strengthen his squad.
With that said, here is a round-up of the latest Arsenal transfer rumours doing the rounds.
Sokratis twist
An unnamed Premier League club has joined the race to sign out-of-favour Arsenal defender Sokratis.
The Greek centre-back is poised to leave the Emirates Stadium before next month's transfer deadline with Italian giants Napoli poised to secure his signature.
However, that could all be about to change according to The Sun, who report that an unnamed Premier League club have joined the race to sign him.
Napoli's hopes of signing the former Borussia Dortmund man, of course, rest on whether or not Kalidou Koulibaly, who is being heavily linked with Manchester City, seals an exit.
Aouar setback
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has handed Arsenal a setback in their attempts to sign Houssem Aouar this summer.
The Gunners very keen on acquiring the playmaker's services as Arteta looks to overhaul his midfield options.
But they are struggling to raise the funds required to meet the Ligue 1 outfit's reported £50million asking price.

And the club's president, Aulas, has confirmed as much, stating that Arsenal are in a difficult place financially and that they may struggle to pull off the deal.
"Financially, Arsenal are like everyone else (in a tricky spot)," he told Le Progres. "And Houssem could say to himself that the best thing would be to stay with us."
Partey and Aouar tipped to sign
In the complete opposite stance to Aulas, former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell expects both Aouar and Partey to arrive before deadline day.
"Central midfield is the key area for Arsenal and there’s talk of Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar, from Lyon and I think they’re the two key positions," he told GentingBet.
"Thomas Partey is a defensive type midfielder, but he's got so much to his game, he can go box to box and really, he can do it all.
"Aouar is a creative player who can play numerous positions across midfield and even across the front. So, I think those are the two players been heavily linked to the club and are in talks of coming in.
"I think Arteta and Edu will get it done, in the end. I'm not sure how quick it will be and it might be right up to the to the deadline date, but I think Arsenal will get it done.
