Arsenal transfer rumours: Granit Xhaka decision, Yusuf Yazici stance, Jerome Boateng boost

Arsenal are back in Premier League action tomorrow afternoon as they make the trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United.

The Gunners were beaten in their last top-flight encounter with Aston Villa before the international break, and Mikel Arteta will be looking to continue the progress his team has made since he took over.

Arteta will have one eye on the upcoming January transfer window, as well as the on-the-pitch matters. With that said, we have gathered the latest transfer rumours on Arsenal.

Xhaka makes Inter decision

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has no intention of leaving the club in January and joining Inter Milan, according to Calciomercato.

The Italian news outlet are reporting that the Serie A club were looking to make a move for Xhaka in the January transfer window, but that is now very unlikely to happen.

Antonio Conte's Inter side could instead try and make a move for Chelsea star N'Golo Kante, who has returned to his brilliant best this season. Xhaka has played in six of Arsenal's eight Premier League matches so far this season.

Yazici 'flattered' by Gunners link

Lille midfielder Yusuf Yazici is 'flattered' by speculation over a move to Arsenal and other big clubs, according to the player's agent Adem Cebeci.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Turkish playmaker over the last few weeks.

"In Lille, he works with the best. Yusuf feels right at home here to work on his weaknesses – speed and speed,” Cebeci told Hurriyet, per Sport Witness. "They want to use his full potential and sell him to even bigger clubs for a lot of money. We are honoured that big clubs have had an eye on him."

Boateng's stance on London move

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng would be open to a move to London amid links with Arsenal, according to German outlet BILD.

Boateng looks set to leave the European champions next summer, with his contract at the Bundesliga giants expiring at the end of the season. The Gunners, as well as North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, have been linked with a move for the experienced 32-year-old.

The report from Germany claims that Boateng admitted he would love a new challenge in a different city, and listed London as a possible destination.
