The unofficial first day of Arsenal's season has arrived with the Gunners taking on Liverpool in the Community Shield.
The new Premier League season doesn't get going for another two weeks, but today Arsenal fans will get to see their men back in action with something to play for.
The clash with last season's Premier League champions should prove an important yardstick for Mikel Arteta as he looks to pinpoint the areas he must strengthen in the transfer market ahead of the new season.
Though, he and his recruitment staff certainly have a good idea already with the Gunners linked to a whole host of names.
Below we run you through the latest.
Atletico Madrid sweet on Lacazette
Atletico Madrid remain keen on signing Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette.
According to Marca, Diego Simeone's men are pushing ahead of their plan to land the French forward and they are willing to sweeten the deal.
The report claims Atleti are willing to swap to players to land Lacazette, which will give the Gunners hope.

Arsenal are attempting to sign Atletico midfielder Thomas Partey this summer, and if the Spanish club really are that keen on Lacazette, there may be room for manoeuvre.
Gunners turn to Raya
Arsenal have identified Brentford keeper David Raya as a replacement for Emiliano Martinez, according to reports.
Arteta could be forced to sell Martinez this summer if he can't guarantee the Argentine regular football.
It's expected Bernd Leno could retake the starting role once he recovers from injury.
If Martinez is to leave, Arsenal are hopeful on raising around £20m from his sale following impressive displays last season.
And the Athletic claim they will turn to Brentford keeper Raya to replace him.
Arsenal linked with Athletic Club star
The Gunners have been linked with a move for Athletic Club defender Unai Núñez.
According to AS, Arsenal are among a number of clubs including Wolves, AC Milan and Monaco who have cast their eye on the centre-back.
And it has now been revealed that the 23-year-old has a release clause of €30m (£26.7m).
That could make him a steal for Arsenal, but it's unclear whether it's an either-or situation amid the expected arrivial of Gabrial Magalhaes.
