Arsenal transfer round-up: Gunners considering PSG star as Hector Bellerin nears exit

Arsenal will be hoping for a much-improved Premier League season as the new campaign approaches.

The Gunners finished eighth in the league table last term and will be looking to build on this under manager Mikel Arteta.

Plenty of changes are expected to take place at the Emirates this summer, with a fair share of incomings and outgoings likely to be on the cards.

Arteta recently completed the signing of Benfica defender Nuno Tavares and will be hoping to add further quality in the coming weeks.

But who else could be on their way to the club?

Mirror Sport have rounded up the latest Arsenal transfer rumours...

Gunners "considering" Kehrer move

Arsenal are reportedly considering Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer this summer.

The 24-year-old joined the Ligue 1 side in 2018, but is facing an uncertain future due to competition for places in Mauricio Pochettino's squad, according to Foot Mercato.

Sergio Ramos recently arrived from Real Madrid and is certain to be a regular starter within the side.

Kehrer has two years remaining on his current deal.

Bellerin nearing exit

Inter Milan are closing in on a deal to sign Hector Bellerin, according to the Express.

Arsenal are willing to let Spanish defender leave for the right price this summer - but Inter, who have already inquired about the full-back, would prefer a loan deal with an option to buy.

Bellerin still has two years left on his current contract, but Arteta is willing to let the Spaniard go as he rebuilds his squad for next season.

Who should Arsenal sign this summer? Comment below.

Arsenal will battle it out with a number of sides for the services of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde this summer.

The Athletic reported back in May that Arsenal were considering a move for the Sevilla defender, despite being unable to offer European football.

But El Desmarque via Calciomercato have now made clear that Tottenham, Manchester United and Real Madrid are among the other sides also keen on striking a deal for the 22-year-old.

Each of these teams will be playing in Europe next season, with United and Real Madrid competing in the Champions League while Spurs will enter the UEFA Conference League.
